Week 8

"Dr. Eduardo says you are looking strong, even though I don’t think you look much like anything yet. Keeping the secret of you has been difficult especially through Thanksgiving, our recent trip to Dallas to celebrate your cousin Jackson’s christening and the celebration of Uncle Chris’ college graduation. I am bursting at the seams to tell someone; somehow it seems that it will feel more real once we are able to say it out loud to someone other than each other."

Week 5

I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to make it my own. It has been quite an undertaking but at the end, I will bind it into an album and it will be a beautiful keepsake for us to share with the baby when he or she gets older.

I am now in my 19th week of pregnancy so allow me to get you guys caught up...

"We had been waiting for this moment for so long that when it actually happened, we could not believe it! Mommy took a test on Saturday and there was only a very faint blue line. After asking Daddy what he thought and researching on the internet, it was determined that we should wait a few days and take another test. I could not wait! I went and bought a more expensive digital test and took it on Sunday morning first thing. PREGNANT! Mommy snuck into the kitchen while daddy was still sleeping and set the pregnancy test on the counter, when he woke up and went to make his coffee, he saw it there! We are blessed beyond what we could ever dream."

Now that we are growing by two feet, the Rodriguez's are starting a blog. For now, it will focus on my pregnancy and the preparation for our sweet baby, but in the future, it will serve as a family blog to preserve memories and allow out of town friends and family to be part of the action. So....without further ado, we would like to welcome you and hope you come back often.
